MAYBE IM TOO EXCITED BUT I BEAT THE THING WITH 1 SECOND TO SPARE.
Minigame Compilation games are always great and always make you keep trying til you win. And this one is just awesome, it demands utter perfection, and makes sure its short enough to let you try over and over.
From memory it seems a bit shorter, but that was probably because I had almost no problems running through this one.
The new powerups are the things that get to me. They're a very creative addition to the game. The length of the game (It was only what, 3 levels shorter anyways) is a very petty arguement over how much of a solid sequel it is.
The Yarn and Tongue powerups work a lot better than that Quake thing though, in most of the levels that was included in the cat would just get stuck almost directly above the powerup and get almost nothing.
It requires skill, most levels need more than a few goes to get past, even though you can see what to do.
The only really bad thing I had niggling at me was the Double Jumping. If the levels didnt checkpoint at the start of each one this would have been far worse, as a lot of the time you run right to an edge, and fall right before you jump, meaning it double jumps straight away and you normally die.
But I finished and had fun so what the hoo har? It's a great game.
I walk into these sort of games all the time in search purely of a time sink. This game, all other games like it such as Kitten Cannon and Toss the Turtle, are just great for burning time. Games are meant to be fun and games like this are fun. And as such, great job on this, it is a lot of fun, and you don't need to worry about instant kill objects such as in the latter. (But that's one small gameplay nitbit.)
I remember looking up the movies this game was based on before, and even so, all you really need to know is: There is a guy in the desert/wastes/bacon factory. He rounds up his friends and bigass Worms attack. As theholylands said though, perhaps just a little "About" button that tells you in about a Paragraph what the game is about. Controls take about half a second though, and there's no rush to learn them. While it is Nice and Simple, it also takes quite some skill to keep everyone alive.
I thought the love thing was just for the hell of it, but the pun made it worth it. Won't spoil anything but yeah, and the Engineer being (TOAST) was epic. (Go to Youtube and look up "YEAH TOAST", makes it even more awesome.)\
And the animation was really smooth. And not only the final pun was great, but the few other little puns included were really good too. (Mentlegen...)
I just heard about the YEAH TOAST Engineer video yesterday. It's hilarious and an amazing coincidence. Everyone thinks I'm so witty for putting "Engineer (Toast)" because of that video whereas in real life it was just dumb luck that I picked "Toast" and not "Charcoal" or somesuch. Haha.

Its a good Retro Platformer

Epic
Loved the whole thing really. This one took a more action approach while the part before was mostly dialogue.
Also, to everyone asking what the music at the start was who didn't watch the credits. It's Monster by Skillet.

Its damn creative
Yes it does use the Discovery Channel music (Which is does credit) But linking everything said to something in the Halo universe is very well done.
Good job :D
